Privacy Policy

The Short Version

We collect the minimum information needed to book, service, and follow up on your detail. We don’t sell your information, we don’t share it with marketers we haven’t partnered with, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

What We Collect

• Name, phone, email, and service address when you book
• Vehicle year/make/model
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe or Square, we never store card numbers)
• Before/after photos of your vehicle for quality control and (with your permission) marketing
• Website analytics (anonymous visit data, no personal identifiers)
• City-level location (from your IP address via Cloudflare) to personalize our homepage

How We Use It

• Schedule and complete your service
• Send booking confirmations, reminders, and ETA updates
• Process payment and issue receipts
• Follow up for reviews and feedback
• Improve our service based on aggregate analytics
• Promote our business (only with your explicit consent for photos/testimonials)

Who We Share With

We share information only with service providers we need to run the business: booking (Cal.com), payments (Stripe, Square), email (Google Workspace), and customer management. Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and we select them for strong security practices.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Ever.

Your Rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s PIPA, you have the right to:

• Access the information we hold about you
• Request corrections to inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information (subject to any legal retention requirements)
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
• File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

Data Retention

We keep booking and payment records for seven years (Canadian tax requirement). Marketing consent and analytics data are retained only as long as useful and can be deleted on request.

Cookies

Our website uses a small number of cookies:

• fr-city, remembers your city so we can show relevant content
• fr-banner-dismissed, remembers that you dismissed the location banner
• Analytics cookies (anonymous) from our privacy-respecting analytics provider

You can disable cookies in your browser, the site will still work.

Changes to This Policy

When we update this policy we’ll revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated by email to active customers.
